    • 3 renewals  2 basic (Beaverton Towing, D’Vida Injury Clinic & Wellness Center) 1 non profit (Washington County Sheriff Office)
    • Invoices through July have been sent out

4 – Featured Speaker – Scott Rosendahl, Marketing Manager SERVPRO of Tigard –

“Preparedness” for business and home

  • 6 years ago preparedness became more of an urgent issue
  • Earthquake in Japan spurned this (sister city-ring of fire with Portland)
  • NYT put out article called “The Really Big One”. NYT forced to also release “How to Stay Safe After the Big One”
  • We are 30-50 years from eclipsing average of 350 years between cataclysmic earthquake events
  • Due for “mega quake”
  • OEMA – Oregon Emergency Management Association
  • ServPro handles over 1000 events a year (suicide, fire, flood, etc)
  • Work on a large scale of events and issues from your house all the way through to Nike
  • The Servpro company is all over but the Tigard group itself travels as well.  Small ServPro groups are looked at like storm chasers and can go anywhere to help
